Position summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated CPA Manager to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will oversee client engagements, manage a team of professionals, and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial services.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple assurance and accounting engagements for clients across various industries;
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and senior accountants;
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and insights;
  • Review financial statements and tax filings for accuracy and compliance;
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and practice development initiatives;
  • Ensure all work adheres to professional standards and firm policies.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation in good standing;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity;
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO and Canadian tax principles;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and time-management abilities;
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks Online, etc.).
